Aladdin hits Ultra HD Blu-ray with an HDR transfer and a 2.39:1 aspect ratio. The brightness gives the white areas some pop and vibrancy. The bold color spectrum is replicated expertly, with brightly colored garments popping off the screen. Overall, this is a beautiful looking video transfer.

| Audio |

Aladdin hits Ultra HD Blu-ray with a Dolby Atmos and a core 7.1 Dolby TrueHD Master Audio track. The Atmos configuration folds in the overhead channels as necessary.  Unfortunately, the subwoofer’s presence is not prevalent.

| Overall Reaction |

Aladdin recreates the spirit and magic of the original film in a whole new way.  While it doesn’t surpass the original animated classic, it does a worthy job of paying homage while freshening it up for a modern audience.  The video transfer is stellar and the audio mix is equally as fun.   Would recommend.
